Hello Everyone,
First off I wanted to give a warm welcome to Darlene who has joined the family at Main Street. We are really looking forward to all her great ideas and new initiatives.. Also justwanted to remind everyone that now summer is over… and camp is finished AWWWW… It was a blast. Nonethe less school must go on… Groupp are scheduled to begin the week of the 21, st…. Thank you for your kind words Shelley! I am thrilled to be joining a team that has made such a profound change in the life of my family. We spent years searching for help and support for our twin sons with complex special needs. It wasn’t until one of our twins spiraled downward and sent our family into crisis that we were introduced to Main Street Community Services. Our lives have never been the same. Both boys have benefited immeasurably from the many programs and services offered by this amazing organization! It’s a one stop shop offering everything from therapeutic respite home placement to after school social skills training/respite, summer camps and mentoring. As much as our boys have blossomed in Main Street’s care we know they have embraced our entire family with their support, counselling, patience and understanding! After years and years of trying to find somewhere our family could find help, some semblance of normalcy and loving treatment for our boys we are so grateful for being apart of the Main Street Community Service family!!!!

It truly is a pleasure working for Main Street. The children who become our extended family leave lastly impressions as they grow. Darlene your children are in our hearts and seeing the smiles on their face every single day is something we charish endlessly.
